Dating for pets, and for the people who love them.

My Pet Friends matches pets for playdates and breeding, and pet owners for dates. Everyone verifies their ID before they can post photos or meet anyone.

Two sides

Two ways to match.

Use one side or both. Your pet is at the centre of either.

  • Biscuit, a cream Cavoodle, sitting on a garden path with a tennis ball

    Pets meet pets

    Playdates and breeding matches.

Find pets nearby to play with, or the right match for a litter. For breeding, the paperwork comes first.

    • Playdates with dogs, cats and birds nearby
    • Breeding matches with pedigree papers and bloodlines
    • Medical history straight from the health record
  • Sophie laughing on the grass in a park with her golden retriever

    Owners meet owners

    Dating, through your pets.

Your profile is you and your pet together, so every match starts with something you already have in common.

    • Profiles of you with your pet
    • A verified ID before you can post photos or date
    • Meet in public places, never at home

Breeding

For breeding, the paperwork comes first.

Pedigree papers, bloodlines and medical history are part of every breeding profile. The other owner can see that they exist, and sees what’s in them once you both agree.

Medical history comes straight from your pet’s Quanterium health record, so it’s the same history your vet sees, not something typed in for the occasion.

Safety

Planned

Everyone you meet has shown their ID.

Before you can post photos of yourself with your pet, or date anyone, you verify your identity with a passport or driver’s licence. It keeps everyone safer, and especially women meeting someone new.

  • Your documents stay private

They’re used only to confirm who you are. Other members see a verified badge, never the documents.

  • Report or block anyone

From any profile or chat, at any time, whether or not you’ve met.

  • Meet in public

The app suggests public, pet-friendly places to meet, and never shares your home address.

Planned. Identity checks will be carried out by a specialist verification provider. We’ll publish exactly what is checked, and how long anything is kept, before My Pet Friends launches.

Meeting up

Meet somewhere public. We’ll suggest where.

When you’re both ready, the app suggests a pet-friendly spot between you on Google Maps. You share the meeting place, never your home address. Partner cafés can offer something for meeting there, like 10% off your coffee.

Questions

My Pet Friends, answered.

Is My Pet Friends a dating app?

Partly. It has two sides: pets meeting pets, for playdates and breeding, and owners meeting owners, for dating. You choose which you use, and dating is optional.

Why do I have to verify my ID?

So everyone you meet is who they say they are. You verify with a passport or driver’s licence before you can post photos of yourself with your pet or date anyone. It protects everyone, and especially women meeting someone new.

Who can see my ID documents?

No other member. Your documents are used only to confirm your identity. Other members see a verified badge and nothing else.

Who sees my pet’s pedigree and medical history?

Only a breeding match you have both agreed to, and only while you both keep sharing. Before that, the other owner sees that the papers and results exist, not what’s in them.

How do we decide where to meet?

The app suggests a public, pet-friendly spot between you, using Google Maps. You share the meeting place, not where you live. Some partner cafés will offer something for meeting there, and those offers are always labelled.
