AI disclaimer

AI Triage is designed to tell you how urgently your pet needs a vet. It is never a diagnosis, and it never replaces your vet.

Interim version. Quanterium hasn’t launched. We wrote this page in plain language for the website as it is today, and our lawyers will review it before launch. Questions: hello@quanterium.io.

It isn’t available yet

AI Triage is planned and subject to regulatory advice. It isn’t live. Anything on this website that looks like an AI Triage answer is an illustrative, scripted example, not output from a working system.

What it’s designed to do

AI Triage is designed to answer one question from your pet’s own record: how urgently does your pet need a vet? It gives one of three answers:

  • Emergency: call your vet or the nearest emergency clinic now.
  • This week: book a vet visit in the next few days, and go sooner if it gets worse.
  • Watch at home: keep an eye on it, and call your vet if it happens again or anything changes.

When it’s uncertain, it recommends a vet.

What it will never do

  • It will never name a condition or tell you what’s wrong with your pet.
  • It will never prescribe or recommend a medicine or dose.
  • It will never replace an examination by a vet.

If your pet is in distress, don’t wait for an app. Call your vet or the nearest emergency clinic straight away.

Devices

Mooku devices are in development, targeted for 2027, subject to funding and testing. They are not diagnostic or medical devices. Readings from a device are information to discuss with your vet, not a diagnosis.

How we plan to handle data in AI

  • Who can see what is enforced in the retrieval layer, never in the prompt. We never ask a model to keep a secret.
  • Model providers will be held to contractual terms that stop them training on your pet’s record.
  • Personal details are removed before anything is written to a log.
  • AI Triage is designed to draw only on clinical guidelines curated under a Veterinary Clinical Lead, a role we plan to hire.
